Hiro’s Essentials Origin Story
In my 30’s, I spent a lot of time being active outdoors. As the years went on, I noticed that my skin was beginning to show signs of sun damage. Naturally, I began searching for healing moisturizers in hopes of countering the frequent exposure to the sun. I tried everything I could find that claimed to do the job, but I was unable to find a product that had everything I needed. I wanted a product that left my skin feeling moisturized and that would show visible skin healing over time. I especially wanted a choice of my favorite fragrances or the option to be completely fragrance-free.
In 2016, a visit to a home health patient inspired my journey to develop my own skin oil blend. The patient used their specific essential oil blend to apply to their wound. I witnessed the wound beginning to heal within just a few days – a process that can take weeks using traditional methods. That experience of the power of essential oils became the “healing” start to what would become Hiro’s Essentials. After experimenting with many blends, I finally formulated a lightweight oil that I am able to apply once in the morning to feel moisturized all day and once at night to promote healthy skin restoration during sleep.
